Dr. Compton grew up in the suburbs north of Atlanta, and moved to Savannah in 1988 after graduating from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife Shelly live on Dutch Island with their current group of three cats. In his spare time he enjoys training and competing in triathlons, snow skiing and scuba diving. He is also an active member of the Alee Shrine Dune Cat unit.
Dr. Bevere comes to us from Louisiana. She attended Southeastern Louisiana University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1996.
She then went on to receive a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2001 and has practiced in Savannah since graduating. She currently serves as President of the Greater Savannah Area Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Bevere resides in Savannah with her husband, Gunner, and their 2 cats, Schroeder and Lucy, and their 2 dogs, Betty and Truman.
Dr. Stuart Ann Goldberg grew up in Birmingham, AL but now happily calls Savannah home! She joined Crossroad Animal Hospital in 2014 after receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. Prior to veterinary school, she received her B.A. in English and Environmental Studies from Davidson College. She greatly values the relationships she gets to build with her patients and their people. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Goldberg enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her 4 kids, husband, and 2 dogs.
In 2001 she received her Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a minor from Anthropology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She continued her education to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.
Though originally from Ohio, Dr. Kelble has called Savannah home since 2014. Although she loves both cats and dogs, her house is currently ruled by her two black cats. She loves staying active with outdoor activities of all kinds as well as all types of gardening.
Amy is a native of Savannah, GA though she lived in Atlanta, GA and Melbourne, FL for a few years before returning back to her hometown and family. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a focus in management. Amy is the Office Manager at Crossroad Animal Hospital and brings 15 years’ experience in management and customer service from a variety of industries. She lives with her wife (Christy), two cats and one dog.
Lindsay moved to Savannah in 2010 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Photojournalism. She had a change of heart since then and decided to pursue a career following her passion and love for animals. She started at Crossroads in 2015 while attending school to become a Vet Tech. She graduated in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Technology and obtained her license. Lindsay is an avid UGA fan, lover of the great outdoors, and craft beer enthusiast. Lindsay is married to her husband, Brad, and they have five fur babies (dogs: Luna, Nova and Poca; cats: Lucifer, and Khaleesi).
Amy moved to Savannah from Swainsboro, Georgia, where she started working at Crossroad Animal Hospital in October of 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University in 2008. She then continued her education by receiving an associate's degree in veterinary technology from Ogeechee Technical College in 2011. She has a Chihuahua named Willie Nelson. Her hobbies include: going to football games, playing with Willie Nelson, and being with friends and family.
Kathy started working at Crossroad in June of 1978 after graduating as a registered veterinary technician. As a hobby, she began training and showing her Border Collies in obedience, agility, tracking and herding. In the early 1990's, she became an obedience judge and has enjoyed traveling around the country judging trials. Recently, she has started painting as a hobby, mostly doing pet portraits and painted glassware. At present, Kathy shares her home with 2 Border Collies, Trace and Dice, and 2 cats, Onyx and Gibbs.
Angela joined us as a veterinary assistant in June of 2007. She came to us from Mississippi, where she worked in a veterinary hospital for 7 years. Angela has 2 kids (the furry kind) Talmadge and Hazel. Her hobbies include going to the beach, cooking, reading, gardening and pretty much anything outside.
Kim moved to Savannah in 2003 with her 2 children as a Specialty Retail Manager. After the kids moved out, she decided to do what she truly loved and work in the veterinary field. Before landing at Crossroad Animal Hospital, she took animal behavioral classes and worked with shelter dogs and cats at the Humane Society for Greater Savannah. Now she lives with her two furry children, Louie and Senna and spends her free time with her 3 granddaughters.
