  • Ernest Compton
    D.V.M.
    VETERINARIAN

    Dr. Compton grew up in the suburbs north of Atlanta, and moved to Savannah in 1988 after graduating from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife Shelly live on Dutch Island with their current group of four cats. In his spare time he enjoys training and competing in triathlons, snow skiing and scuba diving. He is also an active member of the Alee Shrine Dune Cat unit.

  • Melanie Bevere
    D.V.M.
    VETERINARIAN

    Dr. Bevere comes to us from Louisiana.She attended Southeastern Louisiana University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1996.

    She then went on to receive a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2001 and has practiced in Savannah since graduating. She currently serves as President of the Greater Savannah Area Veterinary Medical Association.

    Dr. Bevere resides in Savannah with her husband, Gunner, and their 3 cats, Toonses, Minou and Walter White, and their 2 dogs, Betty and Truman.


  • Stuart Ann Goldberg,
    D.V.M.
    VETERINARIAN

    Dr. Stuart Ann Goldberg grew up in Birmingham, AL but now happily calls Savannah home! She joined Crossroad Animal Hospital in 2014 after receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. Prior to veterinary school, she received her B.A. in English and Environmental Studies from Davidson College. She greatly values the relationships she gets to build with her patients and their people. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Goldberg enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her 3 kids, husband, and 3 dogs. 

  • Amy Lax
    OFFICE MANAGER

    Amy is a native of Savannah, GA though she lived in Atlanta, GA and Melbourne, FL for a few years before returning back to her hometown and family. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a focus in management. Amy is the Office Manager at Crossroad Animal Hospital and brings 15 years’ experience in management and customer service from a variety of industries. She lives with her wife (Christy), three cats and one dog.

  • Lindsay Boaen
    RVT
    VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

    Lindsay moved to Savannah in 2010 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Photojournalism. She had a change of heart since then and decided to pursue a career following her passion and love for animals. She started at Crossroads in 2015 while attending school to become a Vet Tech. She graduated in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Technology and obtained her license. Lindsay is an avid UGA fan, lover of the great outdoors, and craft beer enthusiast. Lindsay is married to her husband, Brad, and they have five fur babies (dogs: Luna, Nova and Poca; cats: Lucifer, and Khaleesi).

  • Amy Bolay

    VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

    Amy moved to Savannah from Swainsboro, Georgia, where she started working at Crossroad Animal Hospital in October of 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University in 2008. She then continued her education by receiving an associate's degree in veterinary technology from Ogeechee Technical College in 2011. She has a Chihuahua named Willie Nelson and a cat named Sweetie. Her hobbies include: going to football games, playing with Willie Nelson and Sweetie, and being with friends and family.

  • Jessy Coe
    VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

    Jessy has been working in the veterinary field since 2004. She has been working as both receptionist and veterinary assistant at Crossroad since 2010. She has 3 cats and a daughter.

  • Jessica Geddis
    RVT
    VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

    Jessica is from Brooklet, GA and moved to Savannah in 2009 after completing her RVT from Ogeechee Tech College.  She is a whiskey connoisseur and enjoys traveling, outdoors, cooking, reading and the beach.  She has two fur children, Juno and Kace.

  • Kathy Griner
    RVT
    VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

    Kathy started working at Crossroad in June of 1978 after graduating as a registered veterinary technician. As a hobby, she began training and showing her Border Collies in obedience, agility, tracking and herding. In the early 1990's, she became an obedience judge and has enjoyed traveling around the country judging trials. Recently, she has started painting as a hobby, mostly doing pet portraits and painted glassware. At present, Kathy shares her home with 2 Border Collies, Trace and Dice, and 2 cats, Onyx and Gibbs.

  • Rachel Jackson
    VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

    Rachel joined our team in October of 2017 as a receptionist and then moved over to veterinary technician in the beginning of 2018.  She comes to us from the great state of Texas.  She has a BA in Agriculture Science with a concentration in Pre-Vet medicine.  She has 2 years of experience in the veterinary field.  Rachel got her love and compassion for animals from her mother, who always had about 5 rescue animals at any given time.  She shares her home with 2 dogs, 3 cats, her 3 boys and her husband of 12 years.  

  • Angela Luna
    VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

    Angela joined us as a veterinary assistant in June of 2007. She came to us from Mississippi, where she worked in a veterinary hospital for 7 years. Angela has 2 kids (the furry kind) Talmadge and Hazel. Her hobbies include going to the beach, cooking, reading, gardening and pretty much anything outside.

  • Michelle Moore
    VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

    Michelle has been a Vet Tech since 1992, she worked in the same Animal Hospital for 22 years.  She moved from Boston, MA to Savannah, GA in June 2013 with her family, husband (Eric) and their 2 boys (Cameron and Jarrod).  She joined the Crossroad Animal Hospital family in January 2014.  They have 5 fur babies; 2 dogs (Phil and Gemma) and 3 cats (Snickers, Juice and Tara).  Michelle loves spending time with her family and her fur babies, cooking, going on long rides and charity runs with her husband on their Harley Davidson.  She is also an NFL Fanatic. GO PATRIOTS!!!

  • Rachel Bolton
    RECEPTIONIST

    Born and raised in Savannah, GA, I'm a proud Mommy to my little girl Maddie and my five fur babies Beau (Lab), Cisco (Lab), Rhett (Shetland), Creek (cat) & Gus Gus (cat). I worked the front desk at another Veterinary clinic for 5 years before joining the Crossroad team in June 2016. I have loved animals my entire life and have passed my love for them down to my daughter who hopes to be a Veterinarian one day. For fun we love spending time with my better half and his kids at the beach, on the boat, camping, fishing and pretty much anything that consists of outdoors.

  • Kim Morris
    RECEPTIONIST

    Kim moved to Savannah in 2003 with her 2 children as a Specialty Retail Manager.  After the kids moved out, she decided to do what she truly loved and work in the veterinary field.  Before landing at Crossroad Animal Hospital, she took animal behavioral classes and worked with shelter dogs and cats at the Humane Society for Greater Savannah.  Now she lives with her two furry children, Louie and Senna and spends her free time with her 3 granddaughters.
